What is Płomyczek 3.0?
This is a platform for learning about fire safety and civil protection. It combines assistant chats, games, short missions and lessons for grades 1–3. You can prepare for emergencies, practice safe decisions and talk about them with your child. In a real emergency, first make sure you are safe, then call for help on 112.
Where do I start, and do I need an account?
After signing in, you can open Classroom and Janek’s Missions. Conversations with the assistant and games in the panel require an account and the appropriate permissions. After signing in, select on the page Start the part of the portal you’re interested in.
How do I run a lesson in Classroom?
Choose one of three sessions: recognizing hazards, getting out safely or calling for help. Each is planned for about 35 minutes. The facilitator reads the story, discusses the cards with the group and sets the pace with the “Next stage” and “Previous stage” buttons. Before the session, expand the facilitator preparation section and check the school's plan and any help needed. Presentation view hides the notes, and “Print scenario” lets you prepare the session in advance. This is a pilot program for consultation and trials with children, not a program approved by the Polish State Fire Service National Headquarters (KG PSP).
Does Janek hold an AI conversation in Classroom?
Janek's speech bubble contains ready-made tips for the current task: an explanation of the instructions, a hint and a discussion of the decision. It does not send children's answers to an AI model. The facilitator can open a separate conversation with the assistant in the preparation section; check the reply before showing it to the group and do not enter children's data.
How do Janek’s Missions work?
First you’ll watch a short demo, then choose an answer on the cards and get an explanation. You can try again. There is no countdown or ranking. You can choose pictures with text or text only, and bigger letters. We remember completed missions during your visit; we don’t save answers or results to your account.
Can a child learn without hearing or speaking?
Classroom and missions don’t require sound or speech. You can answer by pointing, typing, an agreed gesture, Polish Sign Language (PJM) or your own way of communicating, with support from a grown-up. Hints and choices are described in text; illustrations help you see the scene. In missions, you can choose text only. Movement activities are optional. The app does not automatically translate into PJM; the materials for grown-ups include links to official PSP videos. Agree on your alert and evacuation plan and any help you need with your teacher or caregiver. A description of features and limitations is available in accessibility information.
How do I skip or reopen the tutorial?
In Classroom, choose “Skip tutorial”, and in the missions, “Skip”; you can return to it with the “Tutorial” button. We remember this in this browser. The dashboard has a separate tutorial after signing in: change whether it shows automatically in “My account”, and reopen it from the menu. We save this dashboard setting to your account.
I’ve registered — why can’t I sign in?
A new account may need to be activated by an administrator. Follow the message shown after registration. If you need help, use Contact. Do not send your password. Public registration is intended for people aged 16 and over; a child account is created by a verified adult guardian or an authorised administrator.
Which assistant should I choose?
Janek explains safety rules to children in simple language. Citizen helps with civil protection, warnings, family preparedness, evacuation and fire prevention. Assistants for PSP staff are available once permissions are granted. On the new conversation screen, you’ll see the assistants available to your account.
Where do the information and suggested questions come from?
The assistant receives excerpts from PDF materials assigned to the given role. Suggested questions are prepared by the content team or by a generator based on the documents. You'll find them under the “Suggestions” button above the message field; their number may vary. Choosing a suggestion sends the question in the current conversation. When information is missing, the assistant should say so. However, AI answers may contain errors. Source links next to answers are currently hidden; for important decisions, use the original PSP materials, current instructions and help from a specialist. Sources for Classroom scenarios and missions remain available on their pages.
The answer is taking a long time or an error occurred — what should I do?
While a reply is being generated, you will see its progress and the waiting time. Do not send the same question several times. If an error appears or the reply is cut off, select “Retry reply” next to the last question. You do not need to start a new conversation: the earlier context is kept. If the problem keeps happening, report it via Contact, giving the time and the message text, without personal data or passwords.
How do I use voice chat and read-aloud?
On an adult account, choose “Talk by voice” in the menu. Tap the microphone to start, then finish and send what you said, or cancel it. The microphone is off while the answer plays; start your next question with the “Ask another question” button. After voice is interrupted on an iPhone, wait until “Preparing microphone…” disappears, then tap the button again. “I’m listening” means audio capture has started. If recording doesn’t start or stops, you’ll see a hint and can try again. To send recognised speech saved after an error, use the “Send saved question” button. You stay in the same conversation. This feature depends on the browser, a secure HTTPS connection and microphone permission. If you can’t hear the answer on an iPhone, check the volume, silent mode and connected headphones, then choose “Play last answer”. If speech recognition is unavailable, continue in the text chat. The microphone is disabled on children’s accounts. In the text chat, open the read-aloud settings with the “Voice” button above the message box. The “Read aloud” button under an answer starts speech synthesis; emojis stay in the text and are skipped when read aloud. Voice processing rules are described in privacy policy.
How do I delete a conversation or clear my history?
Open “Talk”. Next to the conversation you want, click “Delete” and confirm its title. At the bottom of the list you will find “Delete all my conversations”. Deleted messages cannot be restored in the panel; your account and access to the assistants remain active. An administrator can delete a specific conversation in “Conversation history”, and the action is recorded in the audit log.
Do the games teach real rescue operations?
The games help reinforce the number 112, recognize hazards, pack a backpack and make safe decisions. Some games are skill-based adventures with a fictional firefighter. They are not instructions for children to put out fires on their own. Alarms are installed by an adult according to the manufacturer's instructions. The games do not replace a building plan or current regulations. Access to panel games depends on account permissions.
How can I use the portal comfortably on a phone?
Open navigation with the menu button in the header. In the chat, suggestions and voice settings are tucked behind separate buttons to leave more room for the conversation. Closing suggestions keeps the text you’ve typed. Answer cards stack one below another, and in Classroom you’ll find Janek’s hints below the task. You can enlarge the letters and choose a text view for missions. If the menu is open, close it before doing a task. Page zoom and assistive technologies remain available; you don’t need to turn them off in your browser.
What do you store and how do I keep my account secure?
In Classroom and the missions, we don't ask for children's data or save their answers on the server. View settings and closing the tutorial stay in the browser. The rest of the portal saves account data and chat history in accordance with privacy policy and cookie policy. Do not enter personal data in the chat. In “My account” you can export your data, delete your account and set up 2FA. On a shared computer, sign out when you are done.
What does “beta” mean and where can I send feedback?
In real danger life or health, first make sure you are safe and call for help on 112. The portal is for learning and does not replace the emergency services.
